- The XR10 PRO G3X ESC is purpose-built for 1/10th Stock class racing, offering optimized performance and precision control. Featuring a HOBBYWING trade secret that handles aggressive current without generating extra heat, it reduces resistance and maximizes performance. With advanced features and customizable settings, it delivers exceptional power and responsiveness, giving racers a competitive edge.
- Three selectable profiles are available for all 1/10th RC car racing. To accommodate various racing conditions, the firmware includes three easy-to-select preset modes. Users can customize and rename these modes to suit their control preferences, track conditions, etc. For example, ‘1/10 On-Road’ can be renamed to ‘ROAR2025_SPEC_13.5’ to indicate a race using a 13.5T motor at the 2025 ROAR event. These profiles can be saved for future reference.
- An internal electronic key switch ensures long service life and high reliability, while the external switch port allows for the connection of an external switch (not included, sold separately), offering flexibility for various installations.
- The separate programming port can power an external fan or connect to an LCD Program Box Pro or OTA Programmer for the ESC.
- Variable frequency regulation of PWM and brake frequencies allows users to precisely control the driving and braking forces of the motors.
- The softening function, Patent developed by HOBBYWING, enhances power delivery tuning and improves driving efficiency.
- Disc Brake mode, an innovative feature by HOBBYWING, provides smoother and stronger braking performance..
- Multiple protections include, low-voltage cutoff protection (LVC), ESC and motor thermal protection, and fail-safe (throttle signal loss protection).
- The ESC features a built-in data recording module, eliminating the need to constantly connect to the OTA Bluetooth module. After use, connecting to the OTA Bluetooth module allows users to view various performance data.

Motor Connection: For sensored motor connections, ensure that terminal A from the ESC connects to terminal A on the motor, terminal B to terminal B, and terminal C to terminal C. The sensor wire should also be properly connected. Any variation in the motor to ESC connections may result in damage.
- If the motor direction is reversed, adjust the parameter item ‘Motor Rotation’ to achieve the correct setting.
- If it is necessary to connect terminal A of the ESC to terminal C of the motor due to layout wiring, ensure that the parameter item ‘Phase-AC Swap’ is set to ‘Enabled’.
Receiver Connection: The throttle control cable on the ESC must be connected to the throttle (TH) channel on the receiver. This cable provides an output voltage of 5-7.4V to the receiver and steering servo; do not connect a separate battery to the receiver, as this may damage the ESC. If additional power is needed, disconnect the red wire on the throttle plug from the ESC.
Battery Connection: Proper polarity is essential. Please ensure that positive (+) connects to positive (+) and negative (-) connects to negative (-) when plugging in the battery! The XR10 PRO G3X ESC does NOT come with the Reverse Polarity Protection (RPP). In the event of mistakenly connecting the power wire backward, the ESC will get damaged.
